How to schedule a video or a Short on YouTube
Create a publication in skedo.io, upload the video (MP4, MOV or WebM) and choose YouTube as the channel. Enter the title (up to 100 characters), description, comma-separated tags and category; the AI Studio can propose the title and description from an idea. Choose the visibility among public, unlisted and private, state whether the content is made for kids, set the date and time and confirm. At that time skedo.io uploads the video to the connected channel and puts the link to the published video in the publications list. A vertical video within the Shorts length is published as a Short. The same file can also go to TikTok, Instagram and Facebook from the same publication, with a different text for each.

Limits and errors to know about
- The title cannot contain the characters < and >.
- Until Google completes the verification of the skedo.io app, YouTube keeps videos uploaded by external tools private, whatever visibility you choose.
- The connection uses the Google account that owns the channel: if you change the password or revoke access, it must be reconnected (skedo.io alerts you).
- Heavy videos take longer to upload: schedule with a few minutes of margin.
When to publish
The AI Advisor reads the results of published videos and tells you the best days and times for your channel. The weekly or monthly email report tells you whether the new times work.
