Publish to your blog with skedo.io
In skedo.io your blog is a channel like the social networks: write the article in a new publication, or let AI Studio prepare it, and publish it now or on the date you choose. It works with WordPress and with custom sites through the Skedo Blog API. If you also pick social channels, the article goes out first, followed by the posts that link to it.

What you can publish to your blog with skedo.io
- Articles with headings, lists, quotes, bold, italics and links.
- Featured image, plus your site's categories and tags.
- Article address, excerpt, Google title and description, all editable before publishing.
- AI Studio prepares the text, title, address, excerpt and Google data, and suggests the best category.
- Article and posts on Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram in the same publication, with the link to the article.
- Publish now or schedule in your company's time zone, in the same calendar as your social channels.
How to schedule an article on your blog
Connect the site from the Integrations page. In skedo.io create a publication, choose your blog as the channel and write the article: a first line starting with "# " becomes the title, "## " opens a subheading, "- " a list. Or start from AI Studio, which prepares the text, title, address, excerpt and Google data. Add the featured photo, check category and tags in the Blog panel, pick the date and time and confirm. If you also select Facebook, LinkedIn or Instagram, the posts go out after the article, with its link.

-
2
Prepare the article
Write the text or let AI Studio prepare it, add the featured image and choose your blog on its own or together with the other channels.
-
3

Publish now or pick a date and time in your company's time zone. The link to the published article stays in the list.
Limits and errors to know about
- The article text can be at most 60,000 characters and the title 200.
- For Google, the title can be at most 70 characters and the description 160; the excerpt at most 300.
- At most 10 tags, 50 characters each. The featured image must be a photo, not a video.
- After publishing, edit the article directly on your site: changes do not start from skedo.io.
- If the article does not go out within 30 minutes, the linked social posts are not published: "Retry" restarts them all.
- A firewall or security plugin can block the one-click connection: in that case use the Skedo Connector plugin.
- On WordPress, the Google title and description require Yoast, Rank Math or the Skedo Connector plugin.
When to publish
When you schedule an article and social posts together, skedo.io handles the order: first the article, then the posts with the link. With the Skedo Connector plugin or the Skedo Blog API you also see the views of each article, so you can compare the topics that work best.
Questions about your blog
Do I need a plugin on WordPress?
No, but it is recommended. You can connect the site with one click or with an Application Password; the Skedo Connector plugin avoids passwords, works better with firewalls and security plugins, and adds article views.
My site does not use WordPress: can I connect it?
Yes, if it is a custom site. Whoever manages it adds the Skedo Blog API, following the specification you can download from the Integrations page, and gives you the address and token to enter in skedo.io.
Can the article and social posts go out together?
Yes. In the same publication choose your blog and the social channels: the article goes out first, then Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram with the link. On Instagram, where links in the text cannot be clicked, the post invites people to open the link in bio.
Can I see how many people read the articles?
Yes, with the Skedo Connector plugin or the Skedo Blog API. WordPress alone does not provide these numbers, so without the plugin views do not appear.
